Domestic Abuse Issues in  Mediation Training

PARTNERS IN MEDIATION, INC. is proud to be among the first private mediation training providers to offers domestic abuse issues in mediation training.  As with the other trainings we offer, this course is presented live online via Zoom

Our Domestic Abuse Issues in Mediation Training provides participants with necessary information on the dynamics of domestic abuse, how those dynamics might play out in your mediation session, how to screen for these dynamics, how to conduct a "conditional mediation" should you go forward, how to help the parties craft effective agreements, and how to terminate the process.

We are very proud that our primary trainer for this program is one of the handful of mediators who worked with the Dispute Resolution Section of the Ohio Supreme Court to create and implement this training several years ago.  Barbara Doll has spent much of her professional life working in the areas of support for victims of domestic abuse and conflict resolution.  She knows this field inside and out.

Domestic Abuse Issues in Mediation Training is required for any mediator taking appointments from county courts to help resolve parenting matters, and for those on the path to becoming Parenting Coordinators.
