Basic Mediation Training

 

PARTNERS IN MEDIATION, INC. offers basic mediation training live online via Zoom.  We have been conducting mediation training since 1998.

 

Our Basic Mediation Training gives you the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the mediation process, gain a better understanding of the role of the mediator, and see the process in action in role play situations.  Whether you've made a decision to jump in, or just want to learn more about this interesting field, a basic training is a great way to get started.

 

NEW ELEMENT:  We are incorporating an on-line training element to our Basic Mediation Training.  When you register, your name will be provided to the Dispute Resolution Section of the Ohio Supreme Court, and you will be able to access a 2.25 hour course touching on the fundamentals of mediation.  You must complete this 2.25 hour course prior to our training.  

 

A basic training is a prerequisite for both the Civil Training (for KY Mediators) and Divorce Training (for Ohio Mediators)

 

This training has been expanded, and has been submitted for approval to the Dispute Resolution Section pursuant to Rule 16, Ohio Rules of Superintendence, and to meet the requirements set forth in Rule 90, Rules of Superintendence, for those working to become Parenting Coordinators.

This course has been submitted for approved by the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Continuing Education for 13.25 General hours, and .75 Attorney Professional Conduct hours of CLE credits (total 14 hours).
